Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday revived the system of holding weekly Janta Darbar where he would meet people and enquire about their problems, a practice which remained suspended during Mayawati regime.
The Janta Darbar would be held every Wednesday between 9 AM to 11 AM at CM’s official residence 5 Kalidas Marg and the first Darbar would be held on April 18, an official spokesmen said here.
He said the Chief Minister has decided to restore the system of Janta Darbar so that he can get first hand account of the problems and their grievances of the people and redress them accordingly.
