Thirty-year-old Mahesh Kadam from Sion, Mumbai, had gone for a Sunday picnic with his friends to the Shanti Sagar Resort at Badlapur near Thane, when he suddenly died in the swimming pool.
The water in the swimming pool was shallow, hardly two feet, when Mahesh made the jump.
His head and limbs struck the concrete floor rendering him unconscious. He was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
