Eight persons lost their lives and four others were taken ill after consuming contaminated sattu (mixed cereal flour) yesterday at Rajabazar locality in Bihar’s Jehanabad district, police said.
About a dozen persons, mostly daily wage labourers, purchased sattu from a road-side shop and fell ill soon after eating it, Superintendent of Police, Harpreet Kaur said.
