Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray today said he would write to Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan not to allow Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar to attend Bihar Day event in Mumbai.
Raj Thackeray told reporters here that neither he nor his party had earlier made any comment about the Bihar Day celebrations in Mumbai, but his name was unnecessarily dragged into the controversy.
