A completely inebriated man threw acid on his wife and seven other family members including his own children on Friday just because he was refused to be given hundred rupees for buying more alcohol. The incident took place in Varanasi of UP.
Zakir Hussain, a habitual alcoholic, was demanding hundred rupees from his wife on a day when his son was to get married.
The wife, Tariqur Nisha, refused to hand over the money as she was well aware of drinking habits of his husband. But her refusal enraged Zakir to no end and he threw acid on his wife and seven other family members including his own children.
