The BSE benchmark Sensex today recovered by over 105 points in early trade, on fresh buying by funds and retail investors at lower levels. The 30-share barometer, which had lost over 405 points yesterday, rebounded by 105.20 points, or 0.61 per cent, to 17,301.67.
All sectoral indices were trading in the positive zone, with gains of up to 1.63 per cent.
The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also moved up by 31.85 points, or 0.60 per cent, to 5,260.30.
