A century by veteran Thilan Samaraweera and a three-wicket burst from Chanaka Welegedara put Sri Lanka on top Tuesday on day two of the second test against South Africa at Kingsmead.
Samaraweera's 102, his 13th test hundred, lifted the tourists to 338 in their first innings before left-arm seamer Welegedara claimed the wickets of South Africa captain Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis for a duck and AB de Villiers.
