Kavindra Rana, a 32-year-old property dealer from Saharanpur and a driver Vijay were found shot inside their Bolero vehicle on Monday morning inside a forest adjoining the Partapur bypass here.
Police believe the murders took place on Sunday night.
Rana had left his home in Saharanpur at around 1 pm saying he was proceeding to Dehradun. He took his friend Avinash's Bolero and his driver Vijay.
According to Avinash, he rang up his driver at around 7:15 pm and Vijay told him that they were moving towards Meerut and there were two youths with them in the vehicle.
