Noida, Oct 21: Samajwadi Party today launched its election campaign in western Uttar Pradesh by holding a cycle rally and Kranti Rath yatra from Noida to Agra.
Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s son Akhilesh Yadav started the rally from the Film City opposite the Dalit Prerna Sthal recently inaugurated by Chief Minister Mayawati.
He termed the expenditure on statues as wastage of public funds and appealed to the workers to work hard for the party’s victory and expose the “corrupt” BSP government.
