CIA contractor Raymond Davis, whose arrest in Pakistan for shooting down two people early this year had strained US-Pak ties, was arrested in Colorado after he allegedly fought with another man over a parking spot, even hitting him over the dispute.
Davis, whose arrest had sparked diplomatic tensions between the US and Pakistan, was released after paying a blood money of USD 2.3 million to the families of the victims, whom he shot dead on a road in Lahore in January.
Falling in trouble yet again, the CIA contractor allegedly entered into an argument and fight over a parking spot outside a shopping mall in suburban Denver, Colorado, yesterday, police authorities said.
He was arrested and released later in the day after he posted a bond of USD 1750, local police authorities said.
Notably Davis had spent some seven weeks in a Lahore jail early this year after he was arrested. He was released only after much of tension between the US and Pakistan and the paying of blood money.
