Slamming the erstwhile RJD government in the state for its ‘secularism’, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said the party’s chief Lalu Prasad had glorified the perpetrators of Bhagalpur riots instead of bring them to justice.
“The erstwhile RJD government had tried to cover up more than 27 cases related to Bhagalpur riots, but NDA after coming to power ensured that the perpetrators are convicted and punished,” he said campaigning for JD(U) candidate Kavita Singh for the October 13 bypoll in Daraunda assembly seat.
