Insects were found crawling on the bodies of unattended patients in the Unknown Ward of the only government-run hospital in Faridabad on Wednesday, an NGO activist pointed out to the visiting India TV team.
There was not a single nurse, safai karmachari or a doctor to look after the five patients, including two women, who were lying on their beds unattended at the Badhshah Khan Hospital.
Principal Medical Officer O P Mehta however claimed there were two safai karmacharis, nurses, surgeons and orthopaedic surgeons assigned to this particular ward.
