Mumbai, Sep 10: John Abraham says that he never said no to experimenting when it came to picking roles: an alcoholic lawyer in ‘Jism’, a thief in ‘Dhoom’, a journalist in ‘Kabul Express’, a photographer in ‘Dostana’, a singer in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. But now the phase is over.
“I am not dependent on any films. I try to experiment with roles, like I did in ‘Kabul Express’, ‘Jhootha Hee Sahi’ and others. ‘Force’ is my first commercial masala movie, hope it does well. It is very interesting film,” John said here.
“People used to tell me to do commercial films but I like experimenting and so I continued with it. All new directors come to me as they know I will take up risk. I know experiments are more prone to failure at times. ‘Force’ is not an experiment. With ‘Force’, the experimentation phase is over.”
