Burglars on Sunday evenig struck the house of Delhi Youth Congress general secretary Praveen Agrawal in Shastri Nagar under Sarai Rohilla p.s. and decamped with jewellery and cash worth around 4-5 lakhs.
The owner of the house Prem Lata told police that around 7:30 in the evening she went upstairs to prepare dinner when burglars cleaned out the wardrobe on the ground floor. When she came downstairs after preparing the dinner she was shocked to find the wardrobe open and all the valuables missing.
According to the family members burglars decamped with a diamond necklace, gold and silver jewellery and cash worth around 4-5 lakhs.
