Jalandhar police have arrested two women who allegedly were attempting to cash a forged cheque for Rs 30 crore from the account of a Jammu and Kashmir-based textile company. Police have identified the accused as Sukhwant Kaur, originally hailing from Jahagir village in Amrtisar and presently living in the Jyoti Nagar locality of the city, and Harjit Kaur, a resident of Saidpur village in Shahkot.
