If she had been my sister I'd have shot her, UP DIG tells complainant

Satish Kumar, the DIG of Prabuddha Nagar, on Tuesday was listening to a complainant Shaukeen, who was alleging that some powerful people in his village had abducted his minor daughter.
After coolly listening to the complaint, the DIG flared up : " Main antaryami nahin hoon. (I am not omniscient). Had she been my sister I'd have shot her or would have shot myself. If anybody's daughter is taken away, one should die of shame."
