Fourteen passengers were today killed and 35 injured, eight of them seriously, when the Bangalore-bound Hampi Express apparently overshot a signal and collided with a stationary goods train in Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh.
The accident took place at 3:15 AM at Penukonda Station, which comes under Bangalore division of South Western Railway. Three bogies, one SLR and two second class coaches, were derailed due to the collision. One of the coaches also caught fire, railway officials said.

Enjoy on public money but ignore Railway Safety, because there is very little budget available. A revolution is not far too away, just a spark is needed.
