Chrysler followed its strong first-quarter sales with a big profit, sending its 2009 brush with financial death farther into the rearview mirror.
The Auburn Hills, Mich., company made a net profit of $473 million, its best quarter in 13 years, mainly on the back of strong U.S. sales.
From January through March, Chrysler’s sales were up 39 percent as customers bought more Ram pickups, Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs and Chrysler 200 midsize sedans.

hi, I want to share some information about hyundai that is Hyundai is planning to put up a diesel engine plant in India in order to meet the increasing demand of diesel cars in the Indian car market. Since the government has spared the tax on diesel, this step seems justified. The plant would manufacture a minimum of 1.5 lakh units of 1.1, 1.4 and 1.6 liter engines. The plant might be put up at the company’s factory near Chennai.
