A servant working in the Aundh residence of renowned cartoonist R K Laxman was arrested by Chatuhshrungi police on Friday afternoon charge of stealing gold ornaments, Pune Mirror reported.
The theft took place on Wednesday and the 91-year-old cartoonist lodged his complaint with police.
A police team went to his house after Laxman called them over and filed his FIR.
Laxman said, his domestic help was on leave and another man Santosh Manik Pawar of Bopodi had come to work.
