A mob in Kalpa village of Jehanabad district in Bihar took law into its hands and lynched a person to death, allegedly in presence of police force.
The mob killed Upendra Manjhi, accusing him of murdering another man Dilip Manjhi. It is alleged that the local SHO was also present on the spot but did nothing to stop the mob from beating the helpless man to death, in clear violation of the law of the land. However, the SHO has denied the allegation.
