With a number of Congress leaders coming under the scanner of the Election Commission for their controversial remarks during Uttar Pradesh poll campaign, the party’s state unit chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi today said it would have been better had a little restraint been exercised.
To a question on Congress leaders issuing maximum number of controversial statements during electioneering, Joshi told reporters here that her party’s campaigning had been “aggressive and positive” sending others on the backfoot.
