Pakistanis were saved from severe embarrassment today after police cracked a theft case within 48 hours and recovered a diamond necklace worth Rs 1 million stolen two days back from an Indian trader at an India Show here.
“We arrested two men named Mohammad Shakil and Mohammad Salim and recovered the necklace,” Superintendent of Police Liaquat Malik told a news conference in Punjab’s provincial capital Lahore.
