A local journalist Chandrika Ray, his wife, son and daughter were brutally murdered on Sunday in Umaria near Jabalpur.
One of Chandrika Rai's friends went to his home, after he found that he was not taking phone calls any more. The door was broke open and they found the blood-stained body of Chandrika Rai lying under a pile of newspapers inside his office-cum-residence.
The journalist's wife Durga, his son Jalaj and daughter Nisha were also found murdered in the other room.
