Senior Congress leader Gurudas Kamat today said a meeting of Mumbai Congress Executive Committee should be convened immediately to discuss the proposed alliance with NCP for Mumbai Corporation polls.
Kamat, who has opposed alliance with NCP, said he has requested Mumbai Congress President Kripashankar Singh to convene the MRCC executive to discuss in detail terms of the tie-up with Sharad Pawar’s party for the next month’s poll.
