Gurgaon police on Monday arrested five members of a robbers' gang led by one Zubair, on charge of looting money and valuables by giving the victims lift in their white Santro car.
The gang members admitted to have committed more than 35 such robberies. Their modus operandi was simple: in the evening they used to cruise lonely stretches of road in Gurgaon to give a 'lift' to unsuspecting passengers, and then rob them.
