Seam bowler Peter Siddle struck twice before tea on the opening day of the third cricket test to leave India teetering on 144-6 on a fast and bouncing WACA pitch on Friday.
After a stubborn 68-run stand between V.V.S. Laxman (31) and Virat Kohli (44) defied Australia for best part of the afternoon session, Siddle (3-44) dismissed both batsmen in the space of six deliveries.
