President Asif Ali Zardari will not file a response in the Supreme Court to petitions seeking a probe into the memo scandal, a presidential aide said today, a move that could put him in direct confrontation with the apex court which had said he cannot presume immunity.
Zardari’s decision came on a day when the Interior Ministry took on the Army and the ISI over the stand taken by them in the Supreme Court looking into the memogate scandal.
