The BSE benchmark Sensex was down by 92 points in early trade today on sustained selling pressure in oil & gas, power, auto, consumer durables, banking and metal stocks amid mixed Asian cues.
The 30-share Sensex resumed lower at 15,658.94 and declined further to 15,619.00 before quoting at 15,635.48 at 1015 hours, a net loss of 92.37 points, or 0.59 per cent, from its previous close.
