Meerut, Dec 2: A 70-year-old woman Naseem was arrested by Meerut police from Lisadi Gate on Thursday on charge of selling illegal firearms.
The lady's old age was his perfect screen behind which she carried on her trade. She used to order illegal pistols made in Munger, Bihar, notorious for arms trade, and sell them to customers in and around Meerut.
Police seized six illegal pistols, a magazine and a car from her. The old lady used to carry the pistol in her purse for delivery.
