Robert Mark Owens, a 48-year-old motorcyclist used a helmet-mounted video cameria to record himself speeding at 150 miles per hour on his Kawasaki 600 cc motorbike in Buckinghamshire in April this year and posted the video on Youtube.
On Friday he received a 51-week suspended jail sentence and disqualified from driving for five years.
He was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court, sitting at Amersham Magistrates’ Court, after admitting four counts of dangerous driving.Some of the footage, which showed him doing wheelies, riding on footpaths and weaving in and out of traffic, was then uploaded onto the video-sharing site.
