Persistent rain wiped out the entire first session of Monday’s final day of the third and final test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka, which needs to win to square the series, was set to resume its second innings on 164-5 -- a lead of 237 runs—but the loss of a session significantly increased the chances of the test being drawn.
