Lavkush, a youth in love with a married woman Meena, his neighbour, decided to kill his mother Saroj, and on Wednesday night he shot her dead in Rahmatpur village near Bhopa, police said.
Lavkush also planned to kill Meena's husband, but the latter was not in his house.
