The forthcoming edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from November 23 in Goa will hold a retrospective of two renowned filmmakers from France and Australia, showcasing their selective works.
IFFI organisers on Friday said the retrospective section will honour two eminent film personalities—Luc Besson (France) and Phillip Noyce (Australia)-- by screening their films during the ten-day fest, which will end on December 3.
Besson is expected to fly down to Goa and interact with the delegates during the screening of his selected movies, they said.
He is regarded as one of the most influential directors of the French Film industry and will take the audience through seven of his highly praised classics, the organisers stated.
