A traffic havaldar stopped a vehicle driver Amar in East Delhi’s Shakarpur on Saturday and demanded to see his documents.
In course of the quarrel, the traffic havaldar tore up Amar’s clothes and showered abuses.
As passerby gathered at the spot and took the havaldar to task, more uniformed policemen stepped in and in order to save their colleague, they began to canecharge the crowd.
