Atalanta Match-Fixing Appeal To Be Heard Oct 24

The Italian sports arbitration court will hear Atalanta’s appeal against a six-point Serie A deduction for match-fixing on Oct. 24.

Atalanta started the Serie A season with a six-point penalty for its role in an Italian match-fixing scandal, while its captain Cristiano Doni was banned for three and a half years.

Doni’s appeal will be held on the same day at the Tribunale Nazionale di Arbitrato per lo Sport in Rome.
