Teashop Owner Thrashes A Boy To Death Inside Delhi Police Station

Arif, a teashop owner near North East Delhi's Seelampur police station on Sunday thrashed a 15-year-old boy Manju inside the police station premises leading to his death.

The thrashing was over a petty issue. Some policemen gave Manju, a seller of artificial jewellery outside the police station, Rs 20 to bring three cups of tea from Arif. Arif had no change, and he sent four cups of tea. The policemen returned a cup of tea and asked Manju to bring back Rs 5.

An enraged Arif took Manju inside the police station premises, and in the presence of poliemen beat Manju black and blue. Manju fell unconscious. He was taken to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
