Ahmedabad, Sep 7: Taking a swipe at the UPA government, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said “mere promises” were not enough in fighting terrorism and demanded firm and severe action from the country’s leadership.
Asking the leadership to come up with clean policies and clear intentions and also be resolute, Modi said India needed to learn from those countries which have ensured there is no repetition of terror acts in their lands.
“Terrorists are ceaselessly trying to drench the land of this nation with blood. People are fed up with mere promises and what they now want from the leadership is the strictest action,” Modi said reacting to the blast outside Delhi high court in which eleven people were killed today.
