Actress Genelia D’Souza says that in her upcoming film ‘Force’, she has consciously tried to break away from the ‘cute, bubbly girl’ image.
Right from her first Bollywood movie ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ to ‘Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na’, Genelia has so far mostly played roles of a young energetic girls.
“It was a conscious effort to throw out my hair...the image that I had from ‘Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na’...immature... baby girl-like. For this film, I have grown into a lady...a mature woman with my character Maya,” Genelia said.
The actress will be seen as the love interest of a cop, played by John Abraham in ‘Force’, directed by Nishikanth Kamat, a National Award winning film director.
