London, Sept 1: England fast bowler Stuart Broad expects India to provide a renewed threat when the five-match ODI series begins in Chester-le-Street on Saturday.
Broad’s comment comes after England claimed a six-wicket win in the one-off Twenty20 international at Old Trafford last night.
The close contest was a far cry from the Test series, which England won 4-0, to offer an injury-depleted India a much-needed boost ahead of the ODI series.
When asked if he expected India to break their tour duck in the series, Broad said: “Well yeah, of course. We know how dangerous India are.”
