BJP leader Varun Gandhi is expected to introduce Team Anna’s draft Jan Lokpal Bill in the Lok Sabha during private members’ business today.
“Will introduce Janlokpal in Parliament tomorrow,” Gandhi announced yesterday on micro-blogging site Twitter. However, the revised list of business for the Lok Sabha had no mention of the Jan Lokpal Bill till late in the evening.
Earlier this week, Gandhi had said he plans to introduce Anna Hazare’s Jan Lokpal bill as a Private Member’s Bill in Parliament.
Interestingly, the revised list of business of the Lok Sabha states that BJP member D V Sadananda Gowda is scheduled to introduce in the Lok Sabha a Constitution (Amendment) Bill to make changes to the Eight Schedule.
