Ahmed Musa and Olarenwaju Kayode scored a goal in each half as Nigeria defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 for its third straight victory at the Under-20 World Cup on Saturday.
Both teams had already advanced to the knockout stage, but Nigeria avoided a meeting with Brazil by finishing first in Group D with nine points. Saudi Arabia was second with six points and will have to play the South American champion in the round of 16. Nigeria will meet England, which is playing the tournament without its top players.
Nigeria joined Spain and Colombia as the only three teams to have won all its group matches.
Guatemala beat Croatia with a late goal in Armenia to advance with three points as one of the best four third-place teams in the six groups. Croatia lost all its matches and was eliminated.
