In a disturbing incident highlighting the inhuman face and insensitivity of Faridabad Police, a man Gyan Singh lay on the road bleeding with both his legs broken due to severe thrashing from his three brothers, but the police did not lift its finger for well over two hours.
India TV correspondent Kailash Lamba reports that Gyan Singh had a family dispute with his three brothers - Vishambhar, Hemu and Hallu. The three began beating him severely on Thursday night, so much so that both his legs were broken and he was left bleeding on the road.
The police outpost in Gauchhi was hardly 200 metres away, but the policemen did not act.
Gyan Singh's wife Veervati pleaded with the policemen to act, but they shooed her away asking her to take her husband to the hospital first.
