Brazen Daylight Robbery In Noida

Four robbers pushed the calling bell of House No B-47 in Sector 53 Noida on Monday afternoon and robbed a senior citizen of her gold ornaments worth nearly Rs one lakh, police said.

The robbers after forcing their entry took the old woman Saraswati Devi and her grandson Sushant hostage. They took away two rings, a pair of earrings and a pair of nosepins and asked for the keys to the safe.

Meanwhile the old lady's daughter-in-law Rajni came back from the market. She too was held hostage by the robbers. Meanwhile, the boy Sushant gave robbers the slip, ran outside and raised a hue and cry.
