Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called on President Pratibha Patil against the backdrop of a cabinet reshuffle which is imminent.
Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson confined herself to saying that the meeting between the two leaders lasted for 45 minutes during which they discussed the forthcoming
Parliament’s Monsoon Session and current political situation.
“They also discussed various other issues of national and international importance,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
