Liza Minnelli Awarded French Legion Of Honour For Culture

American singer Liza Minnelli was inducted into France’s Legion Of Honor on Monday in a ceremony conducted by culture minister Frederic Mitterand.

The 65-year-old entertainer, who collected an Oscar in 1972 for her performance in “Cabaret”, was made an officer of the order.
