Ahead of the assembly polls early next year in Uttarakhand, BJP President Nitin Gadkari has held a meeting of the party’s core group here, party sources today said.
The details of the meeting held last evening were kept closely guarded with top leaders remaining tight-lipped. Significantly, the meeting came at a time when Gadkari had already announced that the next assembly elections would be fought under the collective leadership of Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former Chief ministers B C Khanduri and B S Koshiyari.
