Veteran batsman Rahul Dravid’s 60th test half-century helped India stretch its overall lead against West Indies to 239 runs with four wickets left by lunch Wednesday on the third day of the opening test.
After resuming on 91-3, India went to lunch on 166-6 in its second innings at Sabina Park.
The 38-year-old Dravid, in his 151st test, had little trouble during the morning session in reaching 69 not out from his overnight 45. He has now hit eight fours in 203 balls and more than 5 hours at the crease.
