Woman duped Noida hotel using fake US embassy letterpad, arrested

A woman named Toha Afroze alias Gargi Banerjee stayed in Noida's Hotel Radisson for seven days using a fake US embassy letterpad and a fake e-mail ID, police said.Her con trick was exposed when the US embassy told the hotel in no uncertain terms that she was not an embassy staff.
In its FIR with Sector 20 police, the management of Hotel Radisson said that they got an e-mail from debmorgembassy@gmail.com stating that their employee would come and stay in the hotel, and the expenses should be billed to US embassy. The mail carried the scan of a fake US embassy letterpad, police said.
