Holding previous Mayawati government responsible for the “bad shape” of roads in Uttar Pradesh, PWD minister Shivpal Singh Yadav today alleged the BSP government spent crores of rupees “only on papers” for construction and maintenance of roads.
“There are roads on which crores of rupees have been spent on papers but they are actually in a very bad shape and I would personally inspect them or get it done by third party,” Yadav said.
