A ‘doctor couple’ has been arrested for torturing their 13 year old maid and locking her up in the house before leaving on a foreign trip.
Dr. Sanjay Verma and his wife Dr. Sumita Verma are alleged to torture their 13 year old maid on a daily basis.
They used to beat her up on flimsy pretexts. The maid alleged that they even used to root up her hair as well. The doctor couple locked up the minor girl in their house before they left for Bangkok.
Once the matter reached to the police station, the couple absconded after their return to India On March 30. They were moving from one place to other frequently in order to avoid arrest.
